BOSTON (August 17, 2017) – – Edelstein & Company, LLP announced today that David McKay has joined the firm as a Partner and will serve as the Assurance Practice Leader.  Mr. McKay was previously Partner and Market Leader (Energy) and Senior Real Estate and Government/Public Sector Partner in Ernst & Young’s Northeast Area.

With more than 22 years of experience, Mr. McKay works with public and non-public clients in a variety of sectors, including energy, real estate, financial services as well as the government/public sector. His clients range in size from emerging companies backed by venture capital and private equity to multinational global enterprises.

Mr. McKay’s experience includes serving clients with debt and equity capital raising transactions in the public markets, SEC reporting, business combinations, acquisition due diligence, project finance and resolving complex reporting and accounting matters.

He is a former adjunct instructor of accounting and finance at Boston University’s Metropolitan College.

Mr. McKay received his B.A. from Colby College and his MBA from the University of Miami. He is both a Massachusetts Certified Public Accountant and Vermont Certified Public Accountant.

Mr. McKay lives in Marblehead with his wife and family.
