Edelstein & Company Wins Third Gold Building Impact Award at the March 27 Non-Gala Event
Edelstein & Company is proud to announce that it won its third Gold Building Impact Award at the March 27 Building Impact Non-Gala event. This annual event honors sponsors, board members and firms like Edelstein that participate in charitable fundraising, collection drives and blood drives throughout the year and, it allows all attendees to participate in various volunteer activities which support local communities.
Special thanks to our very own Kara Scholtes and Nicole Walker for leading the Edelstein team through yet another impressive year of activity and engagement. A few notable statistics to underscore Building Impact’s reach in 2013:
- Runs programming for 598 companies in 53 buildings and 20 communities throughout Greater Boston
- Partners with 18 real estate companies to bring Building Impact to their tenants
- Channels 100% of all participant giving directly into local communities
- Generated $557,634 in donations including food, clothing, educational supplies and volunteer time
- Helped save the lives of up to 2,427 lives through blood drives
- Volunteers spent over 3400 hours in their local communities doing hands-on work and live
