Fall of giving
This Fall brought some wonderful in office and out of office community service events for our firm. We gladly partner with Building Impact to facilitate the majority of our activities which allows us to continually connect with organizations in need.
Check out what we’ve been up to!
October: A firm-wide favorite is the annual no sew fleece blanket activity. This year, we made blankets to be distributed to those in need during the cold, Boston winter at the New England Center for Homeless Veterans. This is one of the Nation’s largest private resource providers to homeless veterans.
November: Volunteers made 118 trail mix bags to support The Pine Street Inn Shelter’s outreach efforts. Their outreach team travels around the city to provide food, clothing, blankets, and more to homeless people. Also this month, we had the opportunity to serve lunch twice at the New England Center for Homeless Veterans which is an activity we have previously participated in and thoroughly enjoy.
December: We donated over 30 gifts to The Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program which helps children in need during the holidays. Thank you to all of our staff members who contributed clothes, books, games, and more to make this a joyful holiday season for the recipients.
