Jason Pierce presents to MSCPA Committee
Last week, partner Jason Pierce, presented to the Massachusetts Society of CPAs‘ (MSCPA) Litigation Support and Business Valuation Committee. He discussed calculation vs. conclusions of value engagements. Jason looked to the audience to gauge their opinions via questions like, Do calculations of value subject the appraiser to a Daubert challenge in a litigation setting?, Should appraisers look to case law for guidance on whether to utilize calculations of value in their engagements?, and Do calculations of value engagements have a role in the valuation industry?
