Kate Rooney in Accounting Today
On May 21, 2018, Tax Principal Kate Rooney was quoted in the Accounting Today article, “Lessons from the 2018 tax season.” This tax season was unique as many preparers spent time explaining the impacts of the new tax law to clients. As this season came to an end, it was also a time to reflect on the way taxes have been done for years- next year will be very different.
According to Rooney, “The work was more complicated this year, which demanded more time on the part of preparers.”
