Marc Bello presents Financial Aspects of Divorce

On Thursday, December 6, 2018, Business Valuation partner Marc Bello, will present Financial Aspects of Divorce at an MCLE Seminar.  Bello will be joined by Ronald P. Barriere, Esq., Burns & Levinson LLP, Boston and Hon. Gregory V. Roach, (Ret)., Worcester Probate and Family Court, Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Worcester. As panelists, they will help family law attorneys interpret financial statements and will teach attendees how to read individual and business tax returns.  This conversation will include:

  • the explanation of key terms,
  • preparing attorneys to be ready to take on the numbers,
  • preparing attorneys to describe different terms, like cash v. accrual accounting, accelerated vs. book depreciation, etc., and
  • the overall understanding of the essentials to confidently explain the financial aspects of divorce.
