MAKING EDELSTEIN A PLACE WHERE ALL PEOPLE CAN THRIVE

Several years ago, Edelstein Partner Kerry Johnson recognized that the sustainability of our firm and profession depended on greater support and advancement of women. As a result of her involvement in the issue and her vision of personal and professional empowerment, Kerry and the firm formed the Edelstein Women’s Initiative in 2011.

The Women’s Initiative:

  • Attracts, develops, promotes and retains top female talent;
  • Creates a supportive and encouraging internal and external network; and
  • Supports career development and work-life balance.

Through our Women’s Initiative, Edelstein addresses the key barriers to women by providing career advocacy and mentoring, female role models, and policies and practices that promote work/life balance.

The Women’s Initiative sponsors a range of discussions and events, including book reviews, leadership training, seminars and conferences on topics related to career development, professional networking opportunities, and social outings.

BOTTOM LINE

The program is making a difference. However it is measured, our Women’s Initiative demonstrates that Edelstein means what it claims about being a place where all people can develop personally and professionally as leaders.
