MEET KATHRYN

Kathryn is an experienced professional who focuses her attention on closely-held businesses and investment partnerships, as well as high net worth individuals.

Kathryn’s experience working in both public accounting and the private sector allows her to understand the varying needs of businesses and works collaboratively with her clients through frequent communication, thinking creatively and providing excellent client service. By working alongside business owners and individuals, Kathryn is able to minimize tax liabilities while maintaining federal, state and local tax compliance.

Kathryn is invested in the future of accounting and participates as the Edelstein Ambassador to the Massachusetts Society of CPAs (MSCPA).  Her involvement allows her to discuss relevant topics, hear from industry experts, and stay ahead of the ever-changing accounting landscape.

Kathryn began her career at a national public accounting, where she worked on large public companies, assisting with tax compliance and auditing quarterly and yearly income tax provisions. In addition to her time in public accounting, Kathryn worked at a large asset management firm in the tax department, preparing quarterly and yearly income tax calculations.

As a manager at Edelstein, Kathryn provides tax planning, tax compliance and reporting services for individuals, partnerships, and corporations. Specifically, Kathryn serves privately-held businesses and their owners, start-up companies, and investment partnerships.

  • Represented individual client in federal audit, assisting with the compiling of documentation for numerous years and various real estate properties.

I enjoy spending time with my dog Gus, staying active, and cooking. After work you can often find me either at the gym or taking Gus on long walks along the Esplanade.
