Rob began his career working in New York City for Ernst & Young in their SEC client group, and as a manger eventually became interested in private practice which brought him up to New England.  He worked for an SEC company handling government financial filings concentrated in energy services.  After several years, Rob joined a local, small, CPA firm in the greater Boston area, and over the next almost 40 years grew the business into R.J. Gold & Company, a recognized organization helping clients of all types and industries.  Healthcare clients became one of his main focal points, helping them to grow and develop over the years.  He merged his practice with Edelstein & Company in 2020 and is a partner on the Healthcare team.   As a partner, Rob provides a full range of business, financial and tax services, individual tax planning and preparation services, and retirement planning and compliance services for the Firm’s clients.
