Partner Promotion Spotlight: Kyle Shukie
On January 1, 2019, we were excited to announce that six of our principals were promoted to partner. Among these, is Kyle Shukie of our tax department. Kyle’s clients range from small family businesses to multi-million dollar companies. He also helps high net worth individuals and their families on matters like estate planning and tax-saving strategies. He joined our firm in 2008 with an initial portfolio of audit, nonprofit and tax work. However, after a few years, he decided to focus his practice on tax planning and compliance.
Of his promotion Kyle said, “I very much look forward to working alongside this wonderful partner group and contributing to continued success and growth of the firm.”

A Result To Share:
With recent major tax law changes, Kyle analyzed and implemented tax savings strategies for clients including: 1) accelerating or deferring various types of income or deductions based on tax rate and law changes and 2) advising and assisting with gifting to new created trusts for estate planning.
A Fun Fact:
Kyle was the first college intern in Edelstein’s history.
