Senior Manager Promotions Spotlight
At our annual State of the Firm meeting in November, we announced the promotions of nonprofit manager, Willy Chan, tax manager Jonathan Liff, accounting & audit manager, Wendy McSheffrey, and accounting & audit manager, Omar Tejeiro, to the senior manager level, effective January 1, 2021. This group has made significant contributions that directly relate to Edelstein’s success. They combine for a total of 24 years of working at Edelstein. The senior manager role is new to Edelstein and we are happy that these team members will be the first to serve in these positions.

Nonprofit Senior Manager
Willy joined Edelstein’s non-profit audit team in 2015. He worked at two international renowned public accounting firms for several years as well as another local CPA firm for many years gaining valuable experience performing and leading financial audits/reviews on a wide variety of clients, especially non-profit organizations and closely-held corporations.
Tax Senior Manager
Jonathan joined Edelstein in 2018.
Jonathan provides tax compliance, planning, reporting and consulting services. Jonathan works closely with his clients to offer expertise in highly technical areas of taxation.
Accounting & Audit Senior Manager
Wendy joined Edelstein’s audit team in 2012. Prior to joining Edelstein, Wendy worked for two years at a national public accounting firm. At Edelstein, she works on a variety of commercial engagements ranging in size and industry.
Accounting & Audit Senior Manager
Omar began his career in private accounting at a publicly traded Fortune 500 company and a major Japanese conglomerate before starting his public career at a small firm in 2008. His previous experience also includes private company services at a big four accounting firm. Omar has since focused on helping small businesses, especially construction, distribution and manufacturing clients prepare audits to support financial growth.
